Summary
The project consisted of the total refurbishment and internal fit-out of an existing retail unit in a busy live shopping centre in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. The existing unit was entirely refurbished within a 6 week period to designs by Project Design Architects
KEY ISSUES
An extremely tight programme required that the works be completed within a six-week programme, adjacent to a live construction site
Complete strip out of all existing internal finishes.
Total internal fit-out of Ground Floor retail unit, including new flooring, clothing display areas, changing rooms and staff areas
Installation of significant new mechanical and electrical packages, including connections to existing systems, such as electricity and fire alarm systems, without downtime for associated users
Installation of new windows and shopfront
